Giraldo Piloto – Director and Drummer
Musician, arranger, composer and director of the Klimax group. Their music has as ingredients a jazzy accent, with touches of Pop / Rap / Funk without leaving behind the Antillean music and as main root the son. His subjects appear in the discography of diverse orchestras of salsa in Cuba and in other countries of the world and is one of the most representative figures of the current Cuban music. Giraldo Piloto is the president of the Contest and Festival of Drum Guillermo Barreto in memoriam.
Noel Díaz Cruz – Vocalist
Vocalist of the group Klimax; This musician has integrated the list of important Cuban groups as they are, the group “Bakuleyé” and “Charanga Habanera”. He has participated in important national and international events and festivals.
Laraine Cañizares Machado – Vocalist
Vocalist of the group since 2014, from the province of Santa Clara where he began studies at the EVA Olga Alonzo Gonzales, continuing in the EPA Samuel Feijó. Although she is originally a clarinet graduate, her voice was noticed early, making her part of various groups in her province such as Sardiñas Plus, among others.
Denis Hernández Peláez – Vocalist
From the province of Matanza, Rumbero by birth, I have been part of the prestigious Rumba group ” Columbia del Puerto ” for many years as a vocalist getting to know each other in the middle. A collaborated with the rumba group ” Muñequitos de Matanzas ” and with the IRAWO OSA project among others.
Mileidys Reinoso – Vocalist
On November 22, 1990, he began his studies at Eduardo García Delgado School, which encouraged him to participate in the ‘’ La Nueva Voz ’contest, winning the first prize and turning many glances at his talent.
Javier Moreno Piloto – Piano
Born in a family of musicians (Piloto-Barreto), he graduated from Basic Piano, Percussion and Ensemble Practice. From his beginning as a professional musician he is part of the Klimax group, with which he has participated in prestigious national and international festivals.
Alejandro Meroño Valle: Teclado
Pianist Holguinero, who began his studies at the Raúl Gómez G. de Holguín School of Music, studies that he continued at the Guillermo Tomás Conservatory of Guanabacoa in Havana, giving way for his efforts to enter the Higher Institute of Art (ISA).

Delvis Michel Ponce Jove – Alto Saxophone
Renowned saxophonist associated with the National Company of Concert Music Amadeo Roldán and the National Center of Popular Music, as well as the Hermanos Saíz Association. Winner of the First Prize in performance (Category Major) at the JoJazz Festival in 2013. He has worked with outstanding Cuban and foreign musicians. He has also worked as a teacher of Saxophone at the Vocational School of Music “Ernesto Lecuona” of Sancti Spíritus and at the “Centro Nacional de Superación de Escuelas de Arte”(CNSEA).
Gustavo Joaquín Díaz Barreto – Tenor Sax
It comes from a family of musicians. His first steps in music were given under the tutelage of his uncle Roberto Barreto (former member of the Orchestra of Benny Moré, Tropicana, and the Musical Theater of Cuba). He has participated in important international festivals and has performed recordings, with several national and foreign producers.
Yamian Fajardo Fonseca – 1st. Trumpet
August 18, 1991, began his first studies in the EVA of the special municipality Isla de la Juventud. Graduated from the National School of Art (ENA) and later from the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) of the City of Havana, in the Specialty of Trumpet.
Rasiel Aldama Chiroles – 2do Trompeta
He began his music studies at the school Paulita Concepción del Cerro capitalino graduated in the trumpet specialty at the Amadeo Roldan Conservatory. He has obtained JOJAZZ prize among others for his performance.
Jean Roberto San Cristobal Figueroa – Percussion
Percussion graduate, this musician has participated in various important national and international events and festivals. He is professor at the conservatory “Alejandro García Caturla”, in the specialty of percussion; Work that alternates with his job in the group Klimax. He regularly teaches Cuban percussion master classes to foreign musicians who visit Cuba.
Julio López Sánchez (Guille)- Conga Drum
Coming from a family of musicians, his father, Jesus Lopez was a percussionist of the Beni Moré band. With just 10 years he won the first prize in a meeting sponsored by the National Folkloric Group of Cuba in the specialty of rumba and Columbia, held in the municipality of San Miguel del Padrón in the City of Havana.
Rubén Galán Salfrán – Bajo
He began his studies very early in the EVA Regino Eladio de Guantánamo, he went through the EVA José María Heredia in Santiago de Cuba and the Conservatorio de Esteban Salas in Santiago, before graduating in the Camagüey Conservatory José White.
